Information you give us

• Equipment submissions: your name, company, email, phone, the machine details you enter, and the photos and video you upload.
• Buyer inquiries: your name, email, phone, company and message.
• Seller accounts: your login email and password (stored securely by our authentication provider; we never see your password), your listing agreement signature, and the replies and change requests you send.
• Anything else you send us by email or through a form.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and how people arrive. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information like your browser, device, approximate location and pages visited. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to block spam on our forms; it may process your IP address and browser information for that purpose. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses.

How we use information

• To review, list and market equipment, and to answer buyer questions.
• To connect buyers and sellers and arrange inspections, removal and installation.
• To send emails about your submission, listing, account or inquiry.
• To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse.
• To understand and improve how the site works.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

What is public

When a machine is listed, its photos, video, description, specifications and general location (city and state) appear on the site. We do not publish sellers’ names or contact details, asking prices, or serial numbers. Buyer inquiries are not published.

When we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• With the other side of a sale when needed to complete it, for example to arrange an inspection or removal.
• With service providers who run the site for us: website hosting, database and file storage, email delivery, spam protection and analytics. They may use the information only to provide their services.
• With installers, riggers or other contractors involved in moving a machine you are buying or selling.
• If required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
• As part of a merger, sale or reorganization of our business.

Cookies and your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To stop Google Analytics from collecting your visits, you can use Google’s opt-out browser add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Signed-in seller and staff areas use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in.

How long we keep information

We keep submissions, listings, agreements and sale records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. Signed agreements are kept as records of the agreement. You can ask us to delete information we no longer need.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Email info@stonemachinemarketplace.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to confirm your identity first.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The site is for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their information.
